GMC159 master cylinder was fitted to Minis from 1969 to 1975 with the front/ rear split brake system.

GMC160 master cylinder was fitted to Minis from 1974 to 1975 with the split diagonal brake system.

Both brake master cylinders can be identified by a round reservoir.
