This hydraulic brake light switch was used on all pre 1976 single line brake system Minis and was fitted into the banjo bolt (7H7995) on the right hand brake hose.

From 1976 onwards the Mini used a mechanical brake light switch fitted to the pedal box. See 13H3735.
